STUDIO MARACUJA

Studio Maracuja is the studio I founded in 2021. It’s all about 3D printing eco-friendly objects, and colors, and sell them all around the world.

THE STORY

During the third Covid’s lockdown, I bought a 3D printer because I was getting bored. This was just before Christmas, and I designed various vases to make gifts for my family and friends. This was the starting point of Studio Maracuja : Feedbacks were great, and from here I was able to grow that idea. The name comes from Maracuja that means passion fruit in Spanish. This was the perfect name for a project that would be a colofrul breath of fresh air.

A STATEMENT FOR EARTH

3D printing is at the heart of the project and manufacturing process, reinforced by an ecological focus including the selection of PLA as the main material for the manufacturing of the products.

PLA, as a plastic made from organic sources, is recyclable in dedicated locations, and available in a rainbow of colors that are carefully selected for the collections.

All the objects are made in Perpignan, and presented on the online store in limited editions, or available to order.

MARACUJA AROUND THE WORLD

With more than 4000 pieces sold during the first 2 years of existence, Studio Maracuja is available in more than 150 shops around the world, in 20 countries, 4 continents, from concept stores to Museums shops. With a new collection of vases and candle holders every 6 months, more than 50 models were available depending on the trends. Moreover, collaboration such as the one with the French illustrator Marylou Chalon (3 vases for a combination between the studio’s drawings and her’s), and the latest one with Flammèche (a duo of Illustrator and Designer based in Paris), shows that Studio Maracuja was not thought as self sufficient : It’s an ecosystem able to expand with other ideas.
